Serbian Super Liga 2013/2014: 1 match/0 goals (Partizan Belgrade)

Description:

Everything that could have been written about Youth School Belin Lazarević Nadoveza – or Partizan’s youth academy – has already been written. It releases future Serbian internationals into the world fairly regularly. Ivan Sapnijc is another such a pearl, which should be a key force in Crno-beli’s side. In Partizan youth squads, Sapnjic is a real goal machine, thanks to which he was given a chance to make his first team debut. That occured on November 30th 2013 in a league match against Spartak Subotica, where he replaced Filip Malbasic at 77th minute mark. He became the youngest debutant in the history of the club that day – beating Dejan Markovic’s record of 25 years. Markovic was one month older than Ivan. Ivan is also a Serbia U-17 international, where he partners Luka Jovic from Crvena Zvezda.

Quotes:

“I’m really honored that I got into the club’s history. I’m very happy.”
