Description:

Denis is a home-grown player of Zilina, where he plays since he was a kid. Last season he made his league debut at the age of 17 on the 20th of April in match against Trencin, in which he played 90 minutes. In summary, season 2012/2013, he appeared on the pitch only 4 times. Everything changed this season because he became a first team regular – already has 6 performances in Corgon Liga and 2 in UEFA Europa League. He is also one of the most important players of Slovakian U-17 team along with Lukas Haraslin (You can find profile on the site too), Miroslav Kacer, Attila Varga (Vavro’s partner from defensive line, already signed with Juventus) and Tomas Vestenicky. 5 months ago they managed to qualify to the semi finals of UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship 2013 in their country and thanks to that in 2 weeks they will play on the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2013 which will be held in the United Arab Emirates. It is worth to mention that Vavro was linked to Italian club Genoa and also another football giants, Spanish Barcelona and Italian Juventus.
