Description:

Tomas in one of the biggest talents in Slovakia at the moment. He already made his professional debut for FC Nitra in a league fixture against FC Spartak Trnava on 13 September 2013. He was a star and one of the leaders of Slovakia national team at FIFA U-17 World Cup, in which his 5 goals allowed him to become the 3rd top goalscorer of the tournament. Unfortunetely, Slovakians lost with Uruguay and failed to qualify for the quarterfinals and ipso facto Vestenicky couldn’t improve his goalscoring record. It is also worth mentioning that few weeks ago he made his debut for Slovakia U-19 national team. There were rumours recently that he is on the wishlist of AS Roma because “Giallorossi” director of football Walter Sabatini is a huge admirer of Vestenicky’s talent.

Quotes:

“There is no doubt that Tomas has a great talent. He can score with his right and left foot, which is very important for a center forward.”

(Lubomir Moravcik – former Slovakian international)
