Description:

Maks was regarded as one of the biggest talents in Slovenia for a bunch of years. That’s why before even making a debut in Slovenian Prva Liga, he was loaned and afterwards bought by Calcio Catania from Luka Koper, at the age of 17. He impressed a lot in “Rossazzurri” Primavera team already in the first season scoring 15 goals in 25 matches and thanks to that he attracted the attention from almost all Italian giants. Before the start of season 2013/2014, AC Milan board decided to loan the player and give him a chance to prove himself in their youth team managed by legendary ex-Rossoneri striker Filippo Inzaghi. Slovenian winger quickly became a very important figure in Milan Primavera squad scoring 5 goals in 7 matches so far in Campionato Primavera – Italian U-20 league and adding one in UEFA Youth League against Barcelona, but he is still very far from making a debut in Massimiliano Allegri’s side and has to work very hard to get a chance in Serie A. He is also a member and one of the best players of Slovenia U-19 team.
