Description:
Danny Bakker is a very versatile player – he can play as a center back, defensive midfielder or even centre midfielder. Biggest talent of Maurice Steijn’s side is one of the most interesting young players who appeared in Eredivisie this season. He made his professional debut during 2012/2013 season, on 16 March 2013 in a 4–0 defeat against Vitesse, but started to appear more often on the pitch only this season. So far he played in 11 matches and scored 1 goal in Eredivisie – pretty good result for a 18-year-old. Thanks to all this he regularly receives call-ups for Netherlands U-19 natonal team where he can play with other fantastic “Oranje” talents, such as Bilal Basacikoglu, Richairo Zivkovic, Riechedly Bazoer or Jorrit Hendrix.
