Andrew Hjulsager joined the Brondby youth academy from Fremad Amager in 2004 and have since played his way up through the youth department. He was a part of the Brondby team which won the U17 Danish Championship in 2011. Two years later, despite the fact that he formally belonged to the U19 squad, he made his first team debut at the age of eighteen. He was in the starting line-up as right winger in a 4-3-3 system in the first match of the season, the 1-1 home draw against FC Vestsjalland on 21 July 2013. He crowned his debut with an amazing goal which made him the second youngest goalscorer in the history of “Drengene Fra Vestegnen”. So far he played in 13 matches in Danish Superligaen and established himself as a very effective substitute. He has so far played for several Denmark national youth teams and now he is a member of “Danish Dynamite” U-21 squad.
“Andrew is a versatile and technically strong player. He plays most often at “10” position or as a winger . His eye for the game and for his teammates make him a skilled creator, and in addition he finishes well with both feet.”
