Super League 2013/2014 (ongoing): 17 matches/0 goals (Aris FC)

Aris is not doing very well in Greek Super League and without doubt they are main relegation candidates, but there is one “new face” who can not complain about his form – Ilias Stavropoulos. He started his career in youth teams of Aris. During the current season, he was promoted to the first team, by manager Zoran Milinkovic. He made his professional debut on 18th August 2013 in a league fixture against Apollon Smyrnis – he replaced Michalis Manias after 65 minutes. He very quickly became an effective substitute and until today played in 17 league games. His nominal position is right wing, but can also play on the left wing and even as a secondary striker. He is widely known for his dribbling and crossing skills. He is currently a member of Greece under-19 national team.

“It is an honor to wear the shirt of Aris. I am determined to work hard and to vindicate those who believed in me.”

(Ilias Stavropoulos)
