Description:

Alexandru Tarnovan up until recently was a member of currently the best footballing school in Romania – Gheorghe Hagi football academy. The best ones go to play at Viitorul Constanta – the club known in English as “The Future Football Club”. It is mainly known as a club with a very clear focus on nurturing the young talents in Romania and it has the top youth facilities in the country. After playing just 8 games in the league, Steaua Bucarest made an enquiry, looking to bolster its youth team ahead of the UEFA Youth League. Tarnovan joined “The Red and Blues” along with 5 other Viitorul players. He played in all 6 games in the Youth League and scored a single goal. Despite a poor showing by Steaua, he was praised for his game and bought by the club official for 300 thousand Euros.
