Description:
Danilo Pantic is a wonderful product of the famous Partizan Belgrade youth academy. He started his career in his home club Jedinstvo Ruma, but moved to Partizan very quickly – at the age of just 11. Just as quickly he became a youth star, and – despite interest from big European giants, including Juventus, he signed his first professional deal with “Black and Whites”. Not too much time has passed until he made his first team debut – that happened on the 26th of May 2013 in a league fixture against Spartak Subotiza, where he replaced Vladimir Volkov in the 70th minute. Former Partizan player and manager Ljubisa Tumbakovic called his style as a mixture of Predrag Mijatovic and Dragan Ciric – two former Yugoslavia internationals. Pantic started his international career for Serbia at U-17 youth level and is now currently playing for Orlovi’s U-19’s.
Quotes:
“I`m delighted that Pantic joined us but I feel sorry that he didn`t sign earlier as he would already played some games. I wish him all the luck, hoping that he will contribute with his performances after the Winter break. He should be talking on the pitch.”
(Vuk Rasovic – manager of Partizan Belgrade)
“The player has recently debuted in the first team, but despite his young age is already famous because he has done great things at youth level with both the club that with the national selections. E ‘a demi-pointe very technical, it is fast and is able to overcome the man with simplicity. has really huge quality, and not coincidentally the following major European clubs.”
(Ivan Tomic – sports director of Partizan Belgrade)
