Description:

Radoslav Tsonev was born in Blagoevgrad – city known for their young active generation of futbol players and has given the Bulgarian and football world unforgettable talents such as Dimitar Berbatov. He has a twin brother – Borislav, who also is a talented footballer. Radoslav is a youth exponent from Levski Sofia – club regarded as the most popular football team in Bulgaria. He made his first team debut in a 3–0 league win over PFC Montana on 27 May 2011, coming on as a substitute for Darko Tasevski. Few months ago he represented Bulgaria at UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Hungary. Despite a poor showing by his national team, he was praised for his game and was even noted as one of the “TOP 10 players to keep an eye on” by UEFA.com. Currently, he is of the youngest members of Bulgaria U-21 team.

Quotes:

“Tsonev was a vital presence in the Bulgarian midfield, his anticipation and positioning a key element of breaking down opposition attacks. Calm with the ball, his accurate passing was often the starting point for attacks, although a team deprived of his twin brother Borislav by injury was unable to take them.”
