Miroslav Kacer began his football career at his hometown club MSK Zilina – club that has one of the best known football academies in Slovakia. Besides Miroslav there are a lot of talented youngsters in “The Shoshons” senior team, such as Jaroslav Mihalik, Denis Vavro, Lukas Cmelik or Andrej Kadlec. He made his professional debut at the age of 16 in a league fixture against Spartak Myjava on 13 July 2012. In that match, he scored his first goal for Zilina to become the youngest player to score in Slovak Super Liga. He represented Slovakia at 2013 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Currently he is one of the biggest stars in the U-19 team battling for qualification to UEFA European Under-19 championship.

“I think that Zilina youth academy is the best in Slovakia with the best conditions to train and the best coaches in country. Without them I would never reach anything.”
