Description:
Roland Sallai is a nephew of Sándor Sallai – ex Hungarian international, participant at the 1982 and 1986 FIFA World Cups. Rolland is a player of Puskás Akadémia FC – youth team of Videoton FC and the best youth football centre in Hungary. He has been considered to be a great talent since his early years. He made his professional debut on 1 August 2014 in a league fixture against Pécsi MFC, in which he replaced another talented youngster Gábor Makrai in the 70th minute. So far made 7 senior appearances, scored 2 goals and made one assist in Nemzeti Bajnokság I, Hungarian football’s top level competition, which is a pretty decent result for a 17-year-old. He is also a member and one of the key players of Hungary U19 national team.
