Description:

Dani Olmo used to be one of the brightest stars of the Barcelona youth teams and when it seemed that he will follow in Xavi’s and Iniesta’s footsteps, he made a shocking and unexpected decision in the summer of 2014 – signed with Dinamo Zagreb. It is worth noting that this was not the only blow to the famous La Masia, because at around the same time, another huge talent – Georgios Spanoudakis – moved to VfB Stuttgart. He made his professional debut on 7 February 2015 in a league match against NK Lokomotiva, where he replaced Paulo Machado after 76 minutes. Dani is a regular of La Roja youth teams, currently playing for their U-17 squad.

Quotes:

“Dinamo is the best option for my career. I know that players who have played here like Modrić, Halilović, Mandžukić and Kovačić who are now at big clubs like Barça, Real Madrid, or Atlético.”
