Ukrainian youth football on the rise – Shakhtar Donetsk U19 were in the final of UEFA Youth League 2014/2015 and their youth national teams are getting better and better. One of the most talented of 1997 generation is surely Maryan Shved. He is a product of Karpaty Lviv youth system. He made his professional debut on 1 March 2015 in a league fixture against Metalurh Donetsk. Less than two months later he scored a great double against Olimpik Donetsk. He is, without a doubt, one of the biggest revelations of Ukrainian Premier League this season. He is one of the most important players in the U19 Ukraine national team, which fields other interesting youngsters such as Beka Vachiberadze, Oleksandr Zubkov, Mykola Matvienko, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Denys Arendoruk or Viktor Tsygankov.
