Description:

Despite a difficult political situation in the country, Ukrainian football is doing quite well. Both the clubs and the national team give a good account of themselves in Europe, while youth academies keep churning out new, interesting talents. Viktor Tsygankov is one of them. He comes from Dinamo Kiev, and while he has not made his debut in the first team yet, it looks like it’s just a matter of time before he can do that. Of course, it will not be easy to break into the starting XI, because the team has stars like Andriy Yarmolenko, Jeremain Lens or Miguel Veloso. Nevertheless, Viktor has a decent chance at making a name for himself. He is also a regular youth Ukraine international, having played at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship 2013 and UEFA European Under-19 Championship 2015 for his country. Unfortunately, his team did not go very far in either of the tournaments.
