Description:
Few people know this, but Atalanta Bergamo has an excellent football academy, of which in the last 10 years came out a number of very good players such as Massimo Donati, Manolo Gabbiadini, Giampaolo Pazzini, Riccardo Montolivo and Giacomo Bonaventura. Tiziano Tulissi is another one who can follow their footsteps and become a very good Serie A player in the near future. He is the current captain and leader of Atalanta Primavera side – youth team that competes in Campionato Nazionale Primavera, the most important of the Italian youth league system. He didn’t make his senior team debut yet, but it seems only a matter of time before that happens. He idolizes Ezequiel Lavezzi, ex-Napoli player, current PSG and Argentina national team forward.
Quotes:
“Adding to the aforementioned Pazzini, Montolivo, Bonaventura, Zaza and Gabbiadini, current Atalanta stars and academy graduates Daniele Baselli and Davide Zappacosta are destined to be future Italy stars. Primavera stars Mario Pugliese, Lorenzo Pezzi, Tiziano Tulissi, and Alberto Grassi are all tipped to join the senior squad in the next few years and also look set for a bright future.”
