Sergio Díaz joined Cerro Porteno youth academy in 2008 at the age of 10. He was a real goalscoring machine in the youth teams and was promoted to the first team very soon. He made his professional debut on 27 June 2014, aged 15, in a 2-1 home victory against Club General. It is also worth noting that he wears legendary number “10” shirt and has already over 40 senior club appearances, which is an amazing result for a 17-year-old.
