Giorgi Arabidze is currently considered to be one of the biggest prospect in Georgian football. The technically gifted winger is often compared to Barcelona star Lionel Messi. He is a product of Locomotive Tbilisi youth system. In 2015, he joined Ukrainian first division champions Shakhtar Donetsk. He made his official debut for “The Miners” at the age of 17 years and 237 days, on 27 October 2015 against Ternopil in Ukrainian Cup, spending the full 90 minutes on the pitch – thanks to that he bacame the fifth youngest debutant of Shakhtar in the Ukrainian history. He is a regular youth national team member – he started at U-16 level, and currently is the biggest star of U-19 setup.
