Janni Serra moved to Borussia Dortmund youth academy from Hannover 96 before 2014/2015 season. BVB coaches have converted him from a central defender to a striker. He proved a great success in his new role and thanks to his good performances in Dortmund U-17 team he was called up for 2015 European Under-17 Championship, where Germany showed some great football, but ended up losing to France in the final.
