Description:

Iñigo Córdoba joined famous Lezama – Athletic Bilbao’s youth academy – in 2009, aged 12. In 2015, he spent the whole pre-season with Athletic reserve team. Thanks to the fact that Athletic B got promoted to the Segunda Division, Inigo, alongside other talented players like Unai López, Asier Villalibre, Iker Undabarrena and Gorka Santamaría, can progress better and get invaluable experience in the second division of the Spanish league. He made his professional debut on 12 September 2015, coming on as a late substitute for Aitor Seguín in a 0–1 away loss against Real Valladolid. He is also a youth international for Spain and member of “La Rojita” U-19 setup.
