Joey Konings is considered one of the most exciting and dynamic young strikers in Netherlands. He joined to famous PSV Eindhoven academy – one of the best youth system in western Europe – as a young child from a RKC Waalwijk. On 18 September 2015 he made his professional debut in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of professional football in the Netherlands, playing for the reserves team Jong PSV, in a match against Sparta Rotterdam which ended a 4–1 home loss.
