Rodrygo Silva de Goes, simply known as Rodrygo, joined famous Santos’ youth academy in 2011 at the age of ten from Ceará Sporting Club. He made his professional debut on 4 November 2017, coming on as a late substitute for Bruno Henrique in a 3–1 home win against Atlético Mineiro. He is the youngest Sanots player to play in Copa Libertadores and also the youngest Brazilian to score in that competition.

“He is only 17 years old, but already Rodrygo is one of the standout stars of the Santista club, with his efforts proving pivotal to their attacking play.

The striker usually plays from the right with his main attributes being dribbling and speed.

He is small and skinny, but Rodrygo is not intimidated or bullied off the ball when defenders swarm around him.”
