Description:
De la Víbora is a 18-year-old left-back and left winger who is considered as one of the most talented players in La Fábrica. He has been in Real Madrid’s academy for 10 years now and has been climbing the ladder progressively. He joined La Fábrica in 2011 from URJ Móstoles.
De la Víbora can plays both as a left-back and left-winger. He stands out for his pace and acceleration on the side. He is a player who always likes to go forward and who is constantly projecting himself in attack. His inexhaustible energy combined with his stamina make him an incredibly useful asset as he brings an offensive value to his team, with a lot of activity for 90 minutes on the left side. He has a very good crossing skills which allows him to find his forwards with precise balls. Very comfortable player with the ball and he has no difficulty dribbling past his opponents thanks to his speed and technical quality. In February 2019, he signed his first professional contract with Real Madrid at 16 years old and he recently renewed his contract with Real Madrid until 2024 with a €30M release clause which show how highly rated he is by the club.
Last season (2020/21), he played with the Juvenil B (U18) but made his official debut with the Juvenil A (U19) in a game against Getafe on April 24th. Next season, he will officially be a Juvenil A (U19) player but according to Mario Cartagena from Goal, it is hoped that he can appear in Real Madrid Castilla, as several of Raúl’s key players will be regularly called upon by Ancelotti. He has yet to settle on a position for the future between left-back and left-winger but for me the best thing for him would be to finish as a left-back / wing-back. We will see in which position he will play mainly with the Juvenil A this season but I don’t think he’ll make it to the first team as a winger – he has more chance to do so as a left-back. But before thinking about the first team, he will have to prove himself with Juvenil A and Castilla, especially since Miguel Gutiérrez and Rafel Obrador (2004) are also very good left-backs.
His stats with Juvenil B (U18) last season season (2020/21):
✅14 games
⏱️764 minutes
⚽️2 goals
🅰️5 assists
⚡️9 dribbles per 90 (3.6 successful dribbles per 90 / 72% successful)
⚔️3.2 recoveries per 90
❌2.6 interceptions per 90
🤚2.1 tackles won per 90
