Gianluca Prestianni is a product of Vélez Sarsfield academy – one of the best youth systems in Argentina. Gianluca is one of the leaders of an extremely interesting generation of Argentinian players born in 2006 which includes, among others Claudio Echeverri, Agustín Ruberto, Camilo Rey Domenech, Santiago López, Ciro Armoa, Kevin Gutiérrez, Facundo González, Tobías Palacio, and Juan Villalba. Gianluca showed himself to a wider crowd at the prestigious Mondial Football Montaigu, where he was one of the best players and helped Argentina finish 2nd after a very close game against Brazil in the final.
