Facundo Buonanotte joined the Rosario Central youth academy at the age of 10. He is considered to be club’s most talented academy graduate since Ángel Di María. He is one of the leaders of Argentina U-20, an extremely interesting team with many exciting talents such as Alejandro Garnacho, Nicolás Palavecino, Santiago Castro, Mateo Sanabria, Maximiliano González, Valentín Barco, Brian Aguilar, Valentin Carboni, Gino Infantino, Federico Redondo, Matías Soulé, Julián Aude, and Lucas Román. Facu made his professional debut for Rosario Central on 13 May 2022 in the Copa Argentina game against Sol de Mayo. The next day, he signed his first professional contract with the club.
