Marc Guiu joined the famous La Masia from PB Sant Celoni in 2013. He is a part of an extremely interesting generation of Barca U18s which includes, among others Lamine Yamal, Dani Rodriguez, Hugo Alba, Áron Yaakobishvili, Gerard Hernández, Pau Cubarsí, Héctor Fort, Guille Fernández, Álvaro Cortés, Landry Farre, Juan Hernández, Arnau Pradas, Marc Bernal, and Pau Prim. On 22 October, Guiu scored on his first team debut in a 1–0 win over Athletic Club, coming on as a 79th-minute substitute, and converting a one-on-one scoring opportunity into a goal with his first shot on target after just 23 seconds on the pitch. He is also a regular youth international for Spain. In May 2023, he was one of the leaders of La Rojita at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where young Spaniards made it to the semi-final.

“He is a pure centre forward, a classic ‘9’, a specialist in the area who lives from his physical power. His best virtue is his aerial play. Marc is also very quick and powerful, he is unstoppable with space.”

(Iván Carrasco – Barcelona youth coach)
