Description:
Alan Virginius joined FC Sochaux-Montbéliard academy from Entente Sannois Saint-Gratien in 2018. Sochaux’s youth system produced many interesting talents in recent years such as Ibrahima Konaté, Marcus Thuram, Maxence Lacroix, Jérôme Onguéné, and Lucien Agoume. On 6 July 2020, Virginius signed his first professional contract with Sochaux. He made his professional debut in a 2-2 Ligue 2 game against Rodez AF on 19 September 2020. He scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 15 league games during his first season which was a fantastic result for such a young player.
