10 questions to Bora Aydinlik

Bora Aydinlik

country: Turkey

date of birth: 09/05/2005

club: Fenerbahce

position: attacking midfielder, winger, striker

Your favorite position on the pitch:

My favorite position on the pitch is left wing and number 10 behind the striker where I have the freedom to roam the pitch and have more chances to play with the ball.

What is your main strength:

My main strength is dribbling and taking on counter team players in 1-1 situations.

What is your main weakness:

My main weakness is a lack of scanning off the ball positions before receiving the ball because I was playing as a winger all my life I didn’t have to scan as much as a midfield player. I have to improve my habit of scanning.

Your favorite Fenerbahce player:

My favorite all-time player from Fenerbahce is Alex De Souza. It was a pleasure and thrill to watch him with Fenerbahce jersey.

Your favorite all-time player:

My favorite all-time player is Cristiano Ronaldo but I also admire players like Neymar, Mbappe, and El Fenomeno.

The best U-21 player in world football:

The best u-21 players in the world are Bellingham and Ansu Fati right now. I am excluding Haaland as he is out of this league/world despite being under 21.

The best player you have played with:

Definitely my teammate Arda Guler who is one of your favorite youngsters as well. Being a winger it’s much easier to get the ball in the right position at the right time in the 3rd zone while playing with him.

The best player you have played against:

There is no particular player who I really struggled against but last summer in the Turkish U19 Championship semi-finals where I played in a striker position against Trabzonspor their center backs were physically strong and tough to play against and that was the only game I could not score in Super Lig final 8 tournament.

Your biggest football dream:

My biggest football dream is to win individual accolades and win the Champions League.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years:

I see myself playing in one of Europe’s top 10 teams competing for the UCL title.
