Dedication and effort will give the green light to Venezuela.
Perhaps the Venezuelan are not recognized as a football-holic country, but people are illusionated with the dream to go to a world cup for first time ever, people enjoy the acchievements of their different clubs of Primera DivisiĆ³n, clubs like Zamora have lately exported players to different leagues in the world; Venezuela not only aim to MLS or other countries of South America, they have quality to export to Europe.
Letās remember that Venezuela was the runner-up of U-20 World Cup Korea 2017, they showed a magnificent team with prominent players, But now just a few of them have struggled to succeed in Europe, Adalberto PeƱaranda ā CSKA Sofia (on loan from Watford), Sergio CĆ³rdova ā Arminia Bielefeld (on loan from Augsburg), Yangel Herrera ā Granada (on loan from Manchester City), Nahuel Ferraresi ā Moreirense (on loan from Manchester City U-23), Josua MejĆas ā MĆ”laga (on loan from LeganĆ©s), Ronald HernĆ”ndez ā Aberdeen, Samuel Sosa ā AlcorcĆ³n (on loan from Talleres), and Wuilker FariƱez ā RC Lens (on loan from Millonarios); Likewise, some of them are struggling in America like Yeferson Soteldo ā Santos (Brazil), Jan Hurtado ā RB Bragantino (on loan from Boca Juniors), and Christian Makoun ā Inter Miami.
Recently at Sudamericano Sub-20, 2019. They showed a different selection with acouple of players who were in the last world cup; unfortunately they do not achieve toqualify to the world cup of the same year in Poland. But they showed some talents who continue bringing hope to the nation, like Pablo Bonilla ā Portland Timbers, Miguel
Navarro ā Chicago Fire, Jorge Yriarte ā Vitoria (Farm team of SD Eibar), Christian Casseres ā NY Red Bulls, JesĆŗs Vargas – Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata (on loan from Estudiantes de MĆ©rida), and Enrique PeƱa Zauner – SV Sandhausen.
Also there are cases like Eric Ramirez – DAC Dunajska Streda, and Ćngel Lezama – FK Riteriai who are being taken into account for the future.
This quality of U-23 footballers is giving hope, and it can be foreseen that many of those players will make it, which are exciting news for all the Venezuelan people who enjoy this sport.
The world has to recognize that Venezuelan football is growing and teams like Zamora FC, Estudiantes de MĆ©rida, Caracas FC, among others are clear examples how youth embellish their teams and how talents can be discovered to be exported.
Youth and experience are present. One day, Iām pretty sure we will be able to sing in tune āĀ”Gloria al Bravo Pueblo!ā in a world cupās match.
