Description:
Matej Šakota is a product of HŠK Zrinjski Mostar youth academy. He was one of the biggest stars of Zrinjski during the 2020/2021 season when young Plemići won the Bosnian U-17 Championship and showed a very interesting generation of players such as Ivan Ivić, Marko Ćubela, Antonio Prskalo, David Čamber, Mirko Čule, Danijel Mijatović, and Filip Pandža. Matej is also a regular youth international for Bosnia and currently he is one of the youngest members of the U-19 team.
