Description:
Mátyás Kovács is a product of MTK Budapest academy – one of the best youth systems in Hungary which produced many interesting players in recent years such as András Schäfer, Bendegúz Bolla, Zalán Vancsa, Botond Balogh, Szabolcs Mezei, Márk Kosznovszky, Benedek Varju, and Mihály Kata. Mátyás is considered to be one of the most talented teenagers in Hungary. He made his first-team debut for MTK on 30 January 2022 in a league fixture against Mezőkövesdi. He is also a regular youth Hungarian international since the U-15 level and currently he’s one of the leaders of the U-19 team.
