Saba Goglichidze is a product of Torpedo Kutaisi youth academy. He made his professional debut for Torpedo two weeks after his 17th birthday in a league fixture against FC Saburtalo. He is one of the leaders of a very interesting generation of Georgian teenagers which includes, among others Gizo Mamageishvili, Otar Mamageishvili, Saba Khvadagiani, Luka Gagnidze, Giorgi Abuashvili, Luka Kekelidze, Nika Sikharulashvili, Giorgi Kvernadze, Tornike Dundua, and Soso Kopaliani.
