Description:

Mika Godts joined the KRC Genk academy from Anderlecht in 2020. Genk is one of the most highly regarded youth systems in Belgium which produced many superb footballers in the past such as Thibaut Courtois, Kevin De Bruyne, Timothy Castagne, Leandro Trossard, and Yannick Carrasco. Mika is a part of a new extremely interesting wave of Genk teenagers which includes, among others Luca Oyen, Bilal El Khannouss, Kelvin John, Kamiel Van De Perre, Sekou Diawara, Maarten Swerts, and Tuur Rommens. He made his professional debut for Jong genk on 14 August 2022 in the Belgian second division game against Lierse Kempenzonen in which he scored.
