Alberto Velásquez made the move to the FC Honka youth academy from HJK in 2023. In July 2024, he will join the Danish champions FC Midtjylland. Widely regarded as one of the most promising U-17 talents in Finland, Velásquez boasts a unique background, being born in Finland to a Finnish mother and a Peruvian father. While he initially represented Peru at the U-15 level, he has since become one of the leaders within the Finland U-17 setup.
