Lincoln is a product of famous Flamengo youth academy. The world heard about him at 2017 South American Under-17 Football Championship where he formed a goal-scoring duo with a club teammate Vinicius Junior who already signed a contract with Real Madrid. He is a part of a very interesting generation of Brazilian players born in 2000 which includes, among others Alanzinho, Vincius Junior, Paulinho, Brenner and Rodrigo Nestor. Currently, he is one of the biggest stars of Flamengo U-20 despite being only 16.
