Asen Mitkov joined Levski Sofia youth academy from Botev Plovdiv in 2020. He is considered to be one of the most talented teenagers in Bulgaria. He is the captain and leader of a very interesting Bulgarian U-17 team that qualified to the second round of Euro U-17 qualifiers in great style after beating Serbia, Croatia, and Liechtenstein.
