Description:

Atalay Babacan joined Galatasaray youth academy from Denizlispor in 2013. He has been considered to be a great talent since his early years. He belongs to very talented 2000 Turkish generation which includes, among others, Ozan Kabak, Abdussamed Karnucu, Sefa Akgün, Recep Gül, Yunus Akgün & Malik Karaahmet.He showed himself to a wider crowd at the 2017 European Under-17 Championship, where where he was one of the best players of Turkish national team that unexpectedly made it to the semi-final, but got knocked out by a very strong England team.
