Benjamin Šeško is a youth product of NK Krško and NK Domžale. On 3 June 2019, he joined FC Red Bull Salzburg for 3 years and moved to their affiliate club FC Liefering. He made his debut for Salzburg on 30 January 2021 in a 3–0 Austrian Bundesliga win over Hartberg. He finished the 2020/2021 season as 2. Liga second top scorer with 21 goals in 29 games for Liefering. He represented Slovenia at U-15, U-16 and U-17 levels. In May 2021, he received his first senior international call-up.
