Description:
Callum Hudson-Odoi signed for Chelsea when he was an under-8 player and has risen through the ranks. He is part of a very talented generation of English players born in 2000, which includes, among others Phil Foden, Jadon Sancho, Rhian Brewster, Jonathan Panzo, Joel Latibeaudiere, Ryan Sessegnon, Angel Gomes, George McEachran and Tashan Oakley-Boothe. In 2017 he represented England at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where he scored in the final, but young Lions were ultimately beaten on penalties by Spain. Later in the year, he featured at the FIFA U-17 World Cup as England inflicted revenge by going all the way and beating Spain 5-2 in the final.
