Daniel Samek joined Slavia Praha youth academy from Hradec Králové in 2018. He is considered to be one of the most talented players in the Czech Republic. Samek made his professional debut for Slavia on 3 March 2021 in a Czech Cup game against FK Jablonec. He showed himself to a wider crowd on 22 August 2021 – he scored his first senior goal and provided an assist in a league fixture against Banik Ostrava.
