Deivid Washington is a ‘Menino da Vila’ – academy player of the famous Santos youth academy. He is a part of the new generation of a new highly talented wave of Santos academy players which includes, among others Kaiky Melo, Marcos Leonardo, Renyer, Jair Paula, Sandry, Ângelo Gabriel, Souza, and Rodrigo Cezar. He made his professional debut on 11 April 2023 in a 2–0 away win over Botafogo-SP in the Brazilian Cup. He scored his first professional goal on 10 May, netting the opener in a 3–0 Campeonato Brasileiro home win over Bahia.
