Description:
Facundo Milán is a product of Defensor Sporting academy, youth system renowned for producing many great talents in recent years such as Maxi Gomez, Giorgian de Arrascaeta, Carlos Benavidez, Mathias Suarez, Juan Manuel Boselli, Emiliano Gomez and Gonzalo Napoli. On 8 October 2017, Facundo scored a match-winning brace on his debut against Plaza Colonia at the age of just 16.
Quotes:
“Scored 118 goals (including seven hat-tricks) in two years playing for the youth teams at Defensor Sporting. The day he made his professional debut he scored twice in 10 minutes. Yet to score in the 2018 season – by early October – but he is gaining valuable experience and has more than 10 first-team games under his belt. He is part of the Uruguay Under-20s and is a classic South American No 9: physically very strong and with a killer instinct in front of goal.”
