Description:

Jakub Drozd joined Banik Ostrava youth academy from FC Hlucín in 2017. He is the son of Petr Drozd – a former defender who won the Czech Championship with Banik back in 2004. He is a part of the new generation of extremely talented Czech Republic players born in 2003 which includes, among others Jáchym Šíp, Martin Vitik, Adam Karabec, Daniel Langhamer, Kryštof Daněk, and Filip Vecheta. Jakub is yet to make his professional debut, but thanks to his great form for Banik youth teams, he was named on the first-team bench several times and his debut seems to be only a matter of time.
