Jiří Míček joined the Baník Ostrava youth academy from TJ Sokol Fryčovice in 2021. He is considered to be one of the most talented teenagers in the Czech Republic. He showed himself to a wider crowd at the 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where young Czechs made it to the quarter-final and showed an interesting generation of players such as Marek Naskos, Ondřej Penxa, Jiří Panoš, Kryštof Čížek, Matyáš Nechvátal, Josef Kolařík, Daniel Švancara, Šimon Slončík, and Adam Sosna.
