Description:

Jose Alonso Lara is just one of the many stars for Sevilla FC’s B team. However, in a team consisting of attacking talents such as Alejandro Pozo, Carlos Fernandez, Bilal Boutobba, and former Barca academy stars Aitor Cantalapiedra and Marc Gual, Lara has managed to nail down a place in the starting 11. Making his senior debut on the third of December 2017 at 17, Lara has managed to play over 700 minutes in the following 3 months, no small feat for a player that is 5’3 and a year or two younger than most of his teammates. Jose Lara was part of the U-17 Spain squad that won the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 championship and finished 2nd in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Jose Alonso Lara is a very dynamic dribbler who draws a lot of fouls with his quick feet and fast thinking. Surprisingly, Jose Lara has a lot of stamina for such a dynamic player; lasting 90 minutes in all but 3 games that he has appeared in this season. If Lara works on his end product and positioning a bit more, there is no doubt that he could be the next name in the list of famous Sevilla academy graduates that includes José Antonio Reyes, Jesus Navas, Sergio Ramos, Diego Capel, and Alberto Moreno.
