Marko Lazetić is a product of Crvena Zvezda youth academy. He is the nephew of a former international footballer Nikola Lazetić. He is a part of a very interesting wave of highly talented teenage Serbian centre-forwards which includes, among others Jovan Milošević, Marko Milovanović, Dragan Stoisavljević, Samed Baždar, and Mateja Bubanj. Marko made his first-team debut for Crvena on 29 November 2020, aged only 16 years and 10 months, in a league fixture against FK Rad.
