Matteo Cocchi joined the Internazionale academy from Bologna in 2021. He is considered to be one of the most talented full-backs of his generation in Europe. During the 22/23 season, Matteo was an important member of Italy U-17, a very interesting team with many exciting talents such as Simone Pafundi, Filippo Scotti, Gabriel Ramaj, Mattia Liberali, Alessandro Ciardi, Mattia Mannini, Gabriele Finocchiaro, Federico Ragnoli Galli, Alessandro Ventre, Tommaso Ravaglioli, and Marco Romano.
