Mikel Gogorza is a product of the FC Midtjylland youth academy. He is a member of an exciting generation of Danish U19s which includes, among others Tobias Slotsager, Chido Obi, Oliver Højer, Philip Søndergaard, Oscar Schwartau, Roberto Risnaes, Lasse Abildgaard, Noah Lassen, Olti Hyseni, Jonathan Asp-Jensen, Tobias Lund Jensen, Victor Froholdt, Noah Markmann, and Sofus Johannesen. In July 2024, Mikel represented his country at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Northern Ireland.
