Néstor Lucas is an 18-year-old defensive midfielder who joined La Fábrica in 2011 from Illescas and has played this season with Juvenil B (U18) – his 9th season with Real Madrid. Néstor is a modern defensive midfielder. He is positioned in front of the defence and orchestrates all the moves of his team. He’s a player who has a very good technical quality and allows his team to perform in the possession phases. His positioning (between his two CBs or a little higher) is very important in his team’s ball outings.

Néstor is a player who plays simple but is fair in everything he does, he is very smart in his choices and has a good vision of the game. He’s a player who constantly has his head up, looking to progress the ball forward and he has a good awareness of what is happening around him. He has a great range of passing : short passes, mid-range passes long-range passes and has an ability to break the lines.

Defensively, his positioning and his game reading allow him to recover balls. He’s always there to start the pressing and push the whole team to do it. He’s the captain of Juvenil C. He has a good shooting ability and is capable of creating danger and scoring from distance.
