Description:
Niklas Jensen Wassberg is a son of Roy Wassberg and maternal grandson of Roald Jensen – both former footballers and both SK Brann legends. Niklas joined Brann from FK Fyllingsdalen in 2020. He is a part of a very interesting group of Brann youngsters which includes the likes of Aune Heggebø, David Møller Wolfe, Markus Haaland, Jonas Tviberg Torsvik, Isak Hjorteseth, and Mikal Berg Kvinge. He made his professional debut on 16 May 2021 in the Eliteserien game against Molde. This season, he became an absolute star of Brann and the whole Norwegian second tier. He is also a regular youth international for Norway and currently he’s one of the most interesting talents in the U-19 team.
Quotes:
“He is floating on the pitch. He’s not going down, he’s just floating. He runs, creates, and dribbles. I have never played with such an agile player.”
